Microsoft Family - monitoring activity

Hello Springs2409, by your description your account is adult and you are the family organizer and unfortunately there is no way to monitor you being the organizer.

A possible solution would be to create another family account and put your account that your child uses to play in this new family account.

family accounts have nothing to do with sharing content. They let you set restrictions and time limits for your kids and monitor their activity.

Unfortunately no there isn't any way to restore deleted messages.

I would recommend adding your child to the Microsoft family

One of the multiple features that provide Microsoft family is:

Monitor activity. You might need to know how your kids spend time on their devices and with whom they’re communicating. In this case, you’ll want a parental control app that monitors all activity. These apps provide logs of internet activities. They can even record their conversations.

Apologies for the delayed response.



There has been no changes to the accounts of the people in my Microsoft Family or on the Xbox console, for the members I do activity monitoring.



I don't use a PC to monitor activity or check the weekly reports; I use the Android app on my mobile phone.



To test, I did also now check the reports on a Windows 11 PC (21H2) with all Microsoft updates installed, using Microsoft Edge v107.0.1418.26 (Official build) (64-bit) - No change. I can still not see any activity or screen time usage on either my Windows 11 PC or the Microsoft Family Safety app on my Android mobile device.





I have confirmed that all apps on the Xbox console are up to date, and I have the Xbox Companion App installed on my Android mobile device (I don't believe this app provides any insight into Family Safety/screentime usage at all?).



As mentioned in my initial post, it appears that both members' activity reporting stopped on the same day, ~13th of September 2022, which suggests this may not be a per-member or a device issue, as both my mobile phone and PC are unable to view the activity reports, on email, web, and via the mobile app.



Are there perhaps any additional settings/options I can look at to get these activity reports working again?
