Microsoft family account and xbox account issue

My two sons have their own Microsoft accounts that i have associated with my personal account through Microsoft family. However my account and one of the accounts seem to be linked. For example both my sons accounts are listed on my Microsoft family home page but i can only add or remove consent for one of my boys account of change the name.

More importantly, when i try to redeem v bucks on epics website my account has his gamer tag?

Any and all help would help and appreciated

You will need to reach out to Epic Games support to unlink his gamertag and connect yours. You can do that here https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/

If it is, change his privilege to a "Member" account and see if that addresses the issue.
