Microsoft extra switch

How it works with My Home Xbox Switching is that you can only change your home Xbox five times a year in a one year period. If you have already used all of your five Xbox switches then you
must wait until the one year mark passes. You can check how long is left by following these steps:

Open your Xbox side menu by pressing the designated Xbox home button on your controller-> Scroll all the way to right until you are on the last tab called Profile & system-> Open
settings-> Under general, go to Personalization-> Click on My home Xbox-> Then it tells you how long you have left until you can switch again. Follow those steps

If you have not switched your home Xbox 5 times within a year already, then I suggest contacting Microsoft support themselves and telling them the issue @https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/. Microsoft
support cannot give you another free change if you have already used your 5 changes within the one year period.

Support will not reset Home switches.

The survey for the extra switch is not guaranteed. If you don't have one available, all you can do is wait for your limit to reset on its own.

I use mine constantly, admittedly it produces extra heat as an extra device is in but its great to just switch to a game then back to TV so easily rather than just changing the source on the TV.

Not just that but it frees up an hdmi port on the tv.

Bring it back Microsoft...

If you've used your 5 switches plus the extra one some get with the questionnaire, then there is nothing else you can do except wait for one of the switches to reset (which will be one year after it was used). Customer support will not offer extra switches as, if it is used properly, then you shouldn't need more than that
