    My friends recently contacted microsoft about a hacker on minecraft, i dont know the full story but when they contacted this guy he said he was going to ban there accounts for protocol, then they found the hackers, they then said later they were going to
    still suspend there accounts, they started to question him so he got nice. The next day it escelated into him going to ban them. He then said that he would let them off with a warning, but later that day he said he was going to suspend them again do to false
    reporting, then they questioned it and he said he would make it a 120 day ban. He then continued to charge one of the kids who reported the hackers for 99.99 us dollars on his moms credit card and threatened the other friend of mine with finding location.
    This just doesn't seem like microsoft support to me. He contacted them through a microsoft xbox account. I know the gamertag but im not just going to give it away. I dont think he can just charge that kids account with 99.99 us dollars for arguing. Is that
    credit fraud, and is this Microsoft, or someone else. Ps i dont know these kids personally.

    Not sure who they were speaking to but it wasn't Microsoft/Xbox support as they can't be contacted via a xbox account.You have to request a call back from them via the support page on this site.

    Support can't ban anyone either.This person needs to be reported & blocked & the charges should be disputed with the mothers credit card company.

    If you went through your credit card company to dispute charges instead of trying to get a refund through Microsoft, it can be seen as marketplace fraud and could result in a ban.

    do your kids use the Xbox, believe it or not kids these days commit fraud and do naughty things on line all the time, it is one of the leading causes of being banned, kids maybe angels but not all the time, if they use your account and do something bad then boom, banned, if you are the parent of their accounts and they do something bad, boom your banned.

    Microsoft ban accounts all the time for the smallest of things.

    Guys I don't know how so many of you don't understand, but Microsoft and their employees truly just don't give a single scrap about this issue.

    We've waited a year with false promises, its absolutely disgusting and the employees should be embarrassed by their lack of action. These people cannot do their jobs.

    Sell your products, warn others, and avoid Microsoft in the future.

    Why not contact the bank or card issuer? Claim fraud through her bank. Pretty simple solution really.
