Microsoft Edge update is horrid.

Hey my names Caleb, this new update for Edge has left it completely unusable, the format is awkward (but that I could get used to), it lags and freezes when I try to open a page and the only way to fix it is to close and reopen the app, just for it to do
the same thing again, it constantly opens new tabs titled "waiting for response" which never responds, the new ability to download only works half the time (the rest of the time it can't load an image to file explorer so it can't be saved (also whats the point
of giving us the ability to download images but still not letting us use said images as a background).

Constant error codes, crashing and lag, when I search the error code it does not exist.

I even filed a report on the insider app because apparently there are no known issues...

Your forum appears to greatly contradict that.

This update isn't even ready for Beta let alone public release.

Interrupted streaming

Ever since the update I have been unable to watch a streaming show on Microsoft edge without it stopping and going to the home screen. I then have to start Microsoft edge all over again. Is anyone else having the same problem?

i thought these updates were supposed to make my xbox better? instead, its been slower than ever and microsoft edge app is broken now. some update.

Guys try this step, It really work Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide > Select Settings > All Settings > System > Console info & updates > Reset console > Reset and remove everything or Reset and keep my games & apps.

Try some of these solutions:

Clear browser cache: Go to the Settings menu in Microsoft Edge and select "Privacy & Security". From there, choose "Clear Browsing Data" and make sure you select the option to clear the cache. This may help resolve any caching issues that could be causing the tab refresh issue.

Disable extensions: If you have extensions installed on Microsoft Edge, try temporarily disabling them to see if they are causing the issue. Go to the Extensions menu in Edge and disable all extensions. Restart the browser and check if the problem persists.

Update Microsoft Edge: Make sure your Microsoft Edge browser is up to date. Sometimes Xbox system updates also include updates for Microsoft Edge. To update your console, go to the Settings menu, select "System" and "Updates" and check for available updates.

Restart your Xbox: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches or conflicts. Turn off the Xbox Series X completely, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. Launch Microsoft Edge and see if the tab refresh issue still occurs.

So far it's only possible to do this through Xbox Companion on PC and Xbox app on your phone. There is no news if it will be possible to change the picture in a browser so far.
