Microsoft Edge not loading certain websites

I sometimes use my xbox to browse and read fanfiction because my computers fans are rather loud, and recently when I load a story on fanfiction.net it gets stuck on the waiting screen checking if the site is secure www.fanfiction.net needs to review the security of your connection before proceding. The tab also says just a moment, it's stays like this forever. However when I go directly to www.fanfiction.net, it loads the website but when I click on a story it gets stuck in the waiting screen.

I tested it on other websites and it works fine, even the other fanfic sites like spacebattles and sufficient velocity works fine. It worked fine a few days ago. I noticed it changed when Edge's preloading screen changed so it might be an update that did this. Oh, and this doesn't happen when I use my phone or pc so it must be the xbox. I tried hard resetting my xbox and it didn't work. Please help, though its not urgent.

Thanks for testing it with the InPrivate window. I would like you to submit feedback from the browser to let the team know the website is not working correctly on Xbox.

In Microsoft Edge, click on the three dots menu button while you are on fanfiction.net.
Go to Help and feedback.
Click on Send feedback.
Fill out the form.
Click on Send.

Sorry, I'm new to Edge didn't know Inprivate was built in. Yes it does the same thing when I use it, and opening and closing it doesn't fix the problem. I tested it every other website works, except for fanfiction.net when I'm tried to load a story.

We thank you for bringing this inquiry to our forums community, and understand that this concerns a page not loading correctly on a website through Microsoft Edge.

The reason for the photos not loading properly, is dependent on the website itself. Microsoft Edge is a great tool for browsing the internet and day to day use, but some websites are not optimized for the console version of the app.

Because of this, it is not guaranteed that every website will work as expected but there is always a possibility that the hosts of said websites will change the optimization for a wider distribution to users that are not on a PC.

Unfortunately the Edge browser may not be powerful enough to stream video from certain websites.

Please use the app for each of those websites, if available, such as youtube, netflix, hulu and other apps for certain channels.
