    I/we need some real, live, human support from Microsoft. I can call Apple, and Sony. Why not MSFT?

    You closed your brick-and-mortar stores, then made customer service available only online and mostly via community forums.

    I had to jump through hoops in April to get a callback, and purchase an international day pass from AT&T because your drop box window does not list my current location of Fiji.

    Please call or email to assist me in changing the username assigned at registration, but which I would have to pay to change, as you exposed that information. The payment card that was associated with my account was deleted by Citibank after my information was exposed in the 1 April data breach at Microsoft/Xbox and unknowns used my user/pass to make fraudulent purchases of Robux and Vbucks and games.

    Microsoft refunded some of the fraud purchases, but refused to refund others of the nearly 40 purchases.

    I was issued a new banking card and used it in May to purchase $4.98 Robux. Unknowns then promptly made five fraudulent purchases, although I had changed the password for my account. So, I quickly removed the card from being available on my account.

    I will resubscribe GamePass when Microsoft gives me assurance my data will be protected, allows me to select a username, refund all fraudulent purchases that were made and apologize for all the inconvenience caused by leaking my data.

    I purchased a PS5 in early May with a three-month Play Pass amid the unresolved problems with Microsoft. There have been no problems with Sony…

    No you have to also schedule a call back for sony with them also

    I know because Id had to do Warranty and reboot of death claim not to.mention call centers get.slammed by prank calls or calls for.silly unrelated things like enforcement which is not.under support

    Sony doesnt even have office forums.it's all handled by third party forums

    I would not know about PS5 support; it has mot been needed. Sony did mot leak my data, and inform me with only an onscreen. alert that was deleted the same day. There was no public notification of the 1 April breach, and no support for those affected. Xbox online support had me answer questions that mostly were inapplicable, and I only got to speak to a human by checking “the purchase was made by a child.” When I checked the purchase was made by an “unknown person “ I would be directed straight to refunds. And, when finally I got to explain my situation to a human he offered no assistance or consolation, no apology or reassurance; only “go to Xbox.com/refunds.”

    Granted gaming is different; there are miscreants all over the place looking to take any advantage or make any steal. That is why we need human support—at least via email or live chat. Prank or irrelevant contacts could easily be dismissed in a professional manner. And the issues of customers paying for devices and subscriptions could be resolved. I call Sony re: TV and get human support. The same with Apple regarding my computer and phone. I was pleased, happy, to find a phone number for Microsoft technical support at its website while trying to resubscribe to Game Pass Ultimate so my son can play Forza 5. But I called and a bot answered who ultimately disconnected when I repeatedly asked for a human. Ultimately, I was able to subscribe by going to the Microsoft Store. And, I promptly removed the banking card used from payment options on my account.
