    Microsoft code doesn't send to my email


    First, since Microsoft got Minecraft, it has made logging in a nightmare. I have two email accounts and a phone number I have to use just so I can play a game with my kid. It's ridiculous. This time, I had to send a security key to one email address so I could use another email address to receive a security key that doesn't get sent, making it impossible to log into minecraft because I'm "accessing sensitive information". It's really VERY frustrating to jump through all these Microsoft hoops so I can play a game. It keeps logging me out and I don't understand why.

    So, it says it sent a security key to my email but I don't see it. I've had it send 3 codes to this email address and they don't get sent to either email address I have to use for this game.
    I just wanna play Minecraft. It was so easy before Microsoft took over.

    So just to be clear, I can log into Microsoft and go to the store and buy as a gift and put say my sons email address (he already has the game) and it just sends him a code so then I can pass that code to my niece at Christmas?? It doesn't have to be sent to the person I want to buy it for??

    For the email option it's not even giving me any sort of error message...on all devices it's just not sending the code like the "get code" button doesn't even work which I don't believe should be intended. the only time i got the email it went to next page in flow to enter the code. So this also feels more like a bug to me than intended, and unfortunately there is no way to show that to Microsoft agent or have them send me the email from their end which is frustrating.
