Discus and support MIcrosoft Charges on Cards in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I work for a major banking institution, and I have to ask Microsoft, wth is going on?     MIcrosoft Charges on Cards


    I work for a major banking institution, and I have to ask Microsoft, wth is going on? The past two days have been nothing but multiple unknown charges to people's debit & credit cards from Microsoft, including people who don't have a Microsoft account or Xbox!! But nothing in the news or on the internet about it! SO WHAT IS GOING ON???

    Fraudulent Charges

    Unless the charge is on your account that you own then you can not dispute the charges with Microsoft. Your best option is to dispute the charges with your credit/debit card company and let them handle the dispute with Microsoft. This is what they do
    as a financial institution. It's is a lot easier to dispute credit card charges rather than debit card, takes less time.

    Assuming you paid by credit card, you were never charged beyond the usual test charge

    Microsoft charges approximately 10 days from release, as we're 18 days from early access, no one's card was charged

    If you paid by gift card it went back to your MS balance

    You can get games for free

    It's not a glitch. When you preorder a game with a credit card, you are not charged until about 10 days before the game is released. So Microsoft will attempt to charge those cards closer to the game being released and if they can't charge the card the order
    will most likely be cancelled.

    This happened to me once. What happened is that microsoft tried to charge your card with non funds, xbox will hold the card untill you put a card in that can pay the balence. When removing a card from automatic renewal you need to remove it well before microsoft
    charges it for another month of gold.
