Microsoft changed form of money refund to microsoft account

I added £15.00 to my childs account, i was charged and the money hasnt appeared in their account. How do i get a refund?

If you got it as a digital gift then you can request a refund at https://xbox.com/refund.

All Digital products from Microsoft are being refunded thru Xbox Refund form except for Office 2019/Microsoft 365/Windows.

When Microsoft approves a refund for something purchased on the Microsoft Store, they usually send the money to the bank in 3-5 business days.

But sometimes our bank takes more days or until the end of the billing cycle to reflect the refund on our card.
I encourage waiting this time before checking your bank account.

However, if after the end of the billing cycle you don't see the refund listed there, you can try asking for a refund by submitting the refund form I’m going to share below:

You can get the order number by checking your Microsoft account order history:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

In the refund form, you can provide as much information you require to share.

If you're trying to get money out of your Microsoft account, that's not possible. Once funds have been added to an account, the only way to remove them is by making a purchase.

If you bought something with the funds and are trying to refund the purchase, you would need to submit a refund request. https://support.xbox.com/help/subscriptions-billing/buy-games-apps/refund-orders

That is ridiculous. I have no intention of buying anything. I paid the money in order to purchase keys in a game called Farmville 2:Country Escape; however, I am not able to purchase anything. The Farmville 2 program tells me "Your purchase couldn't
be completed." I feel tht it is the FV program's fault and therefore I do not intend to play that game any more. That game is the only one I play that requires purchasing items. Therefore, I have no use for the $50 in my Microsoft Account. Please refund
the monies.
