Microsoft casual games has suddenly stopped working this week.

I have not validated the version of firmware, but I know it suddenly stops working. To update it, I plug the controller in and update firmware. I do this for both controllers. Then it will work for a couple of weeks and suddenly stop.

Hey guys, can you please try removing your HDD and reconnecting? Please let me know if you can connect with the HDD removed!

Here is the latest:

Power cycled modem and router. Would not sync. When I go to network settings, test network speed and statistics I get great numbers. However, updates are just sitting in the queue and not downloading. I think this has to be relative to the sync issues.

These tests were done following a full and total system restore-basically scorched earth.

Why is my console showing great network numbers but apparently not actually connecting to the xbox servers/cloud?

Since it worked using a wired connection, I would advise you to try to soft reset your console: Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
