As far as scalpers/bots, that would really be up to where you're pre-ordering from and how their website is set up.

Take that money, download the Best Buy app and try to beat the bots for a black friday XBSX. And check other retailers. Be sure to to have you payment information alreay in. I did these steps with target and would have secured one BUT i ordered a console
from the MS store on Nov 9th. Well Even that batch isnt arriving until Dec 23rd. Im so annoyed but that because they still have a hold for my funds in my bank and i thoight i wouldnt be charged until the device ships. Suprise theres a catch, putting a hold
on your funds isnt the same as actually taking them out. Same difference to me because i dont have access to them. Thus, if it wasnt for Microsofts Store and shaddy deal id have my XBSX console already.

Therefore, even if you could order one right now you wouldnt see it for almost two weeks from now anyway. If you shot for retailers selling them on black friday, install the apps, put you payment info on, maybe put on a live stream on youtube who are hunting
for live deals, lile i did have a chance to score one on black friday. Im hoping Microsoft takes this hold off my account so i can do that too. Granted, i could cancel my order but if something happens and i cant get it black friday id be setting myself for
major disappoint on Dec 23rd. Eitherway, you got the cash now so you have a better chance of getting it from now until then than i do. Happy hunting
