Microsoft cancelled controller repair when they received it

I sent my under warranty controller to Microsoft and they cancelled the order. They did not let me know via e-mail. I only realized it was cancelled when I selected the controller in my devices on my pc. It said they received the controller and then they cancelled it immediately? What happens now? Will they even send my broken controller back? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks - but the order says cancelled when I click on my devices on my PC. I find it very strange that they didn’t e-mail me to say it was cancelled - just wondering if they will send it back? Thanks

Honestly, it's very strange what you're writing. Recently, I also sent a controller under warranty, and the only thing I can tell you is that I didn't always see my order updated. I would advise you to wait a few days. If the fault was not recognized as covered by the warranty, they would have contacted you and provided a quote. In any case, Microsoft will surely send you a communication if they don't proceed with the repair, but let's hope everything goes well.

I know I'm probably stating the obvious here, but if you have to send a controller/power brick off be sure to choose a postal option that is tracked. After sending my controller off the Microsoft repair in the Czech Republic, my order status was suddenly
set to 'cancelled' and on enquiring I was initially told they haven't received it. With a receipt and a consignment order I was able to prove that they had in fact received and signed for the controller on the 17th.

Still waiting for a call on when I can expect a controller back.

It says the controller was received. But Im wondering why did I get receive a repair kit instead of a fixed controller? Im out of a n controller now as I sent it to Microsoft.
