    Hi,

    i already posted this, but the post isn't there anymore. So i hope i will get help this time. I have a gold membership till next year. But i got an email a few days before that microsoft payment was successful and my gold membership was extended for 1 month
    for 7 Euro? Why do i have to pay. I disabled automatic payment and i also have a gold membership?

    Hello, if i look in browser to Subscriptions page in says:

    "Xbox Live Gold

    1 Month Xbox Live Gold

    Renews On:
    21/02/2015Cancel automatic payment"

    If i click Cancel automatic payment it says:

    "You Currently Have: Xbox LIVE Free: Xbox LIVE Silver Membership RENEWS: 17/02/2015
    AUTOMATIC RENEWAL: ON OFF"


    So, what is this, do i have free gold or what? i paid for this months gold but i dont want it anny more. I do not want Microsoft to charge me afterwards for their bug.

    "You Currently Have: Xbox LIVE Free: Xbox LIVE Silver Membership RENEWS: 17/02/2015 AUTOMATIC RENEWAL: ON OFF"


    So, what is this, do i have free gold or what? i paid for this months gold but i dont want it anny more. I do not want Microsoft to charge me afterwards for their bug.

    Sorry you're upset. However, currency cards have never been allowed as a payment method for a Gold membership. Your only options for a Gold membership have always been either a pre-paid Gold card, credit card or paypal. This is because when you purchase
    a membership online the system automatically sets itself up to auto renew unless you turn it off.

    Even purchasing a pre-paid/refillable credit card would not have worked as they are not allowed either.

    If you have the automatic payment option then.
    support.xbox.com/.../cancel-xbox-live-gold-subscription . If your not using the automatic payment option, just wait until you get paid and buy another subscription card, or buy Xbox Live membership from the marketplace.

    Hello,

    You cannot remove a payment method that is tied to your gold membership. If you wish to remove your payment method from your account you will need to either a.) wait for your gold membership to end by turning off automatic renewal, or b.) cancel your Xbox LIVE
    membership by contacting phone support and then you will be able to remove your payment method.

    If that message is given to you as soon as you sign into xbox.com and select "my account", then it is a billing suspension. You probably have a gold membership that automatically renewed but the payment instrument on file is declining.

    Call 1-800-4my-Xbox and make sure that your membership payments are going through.
