    Microsoft and Xbox accounts seperate


    My Microsoft and Xbox accounts are under the same email, password and everything as normal, but my Xbox account acts like it has restrictions under a family, while the account isn't in one, I made sure my Microsoft account was an organizer, but my Xbox account still acts as if it's a child account and comes with all the restrictions afforded by it, what do I do to fix this

    My son's xbox account is linked to my microsoft account. How do I seperate?

    The Xbox account and the Microsoft account are practically the same. They can not be seperated. The only way to have things seperate, is for one of you to start over with a new account.

    Let's use minecraft as an example

    Trying to select multiplayer brings up the message Multiplayer is disabled. Please check your Microsoft account settings

    The issue is I can't, it leads me to a redirect saying that if you're seeing this it's because you're not allowed within your family

    I've never been in a microsoft family

    So when I try to check if I'm in a family, i use the same email and password and everything

    But sign into a different account

    It's still me, but not associated with the xbox account

    What do I do

    This is really annoying

    all microsoft accounts have an xbox live account associated as they are one in the same, the xbox account IS the microsoft account and cannot be seperated.
