    Microsoft and PlayStation account issues Minecraft


    Trying to play Minecraft on PlayStation 5 and it says my Microsoft account is associated to another PlayStation account. I only have one PlayStation account and one Microsoft account. Not sure how to get rid of the error and play Minecraft

    Hello again, in this case you will have to check other Microsoft accounts that you may have, you also have to contact Sony support so that they can help you, and see if they can provide you with some information about the accounts that are linked to your Playstation account.

    Hi Cozmic,

    Thanks for coming to the Xbox forums. You will need to get with PlayStation on how to unlink the account. If that doesn't work, you could create a new Microsoft account for the sole purpose of Minecraft on PlayStation. The

    Minecraft for PlayStation FAQ     has a lot of information in regards to your issue also.

    From your description, I understand that you are told that you are already logged in to another account when trying to log in to Minecraft on PS4. I understand your confusion about this problem.

    This may be a service problem of ps4. You can try the following methods to solve your problem:

    Even if you can unlink the account, Sony will not allow you to link another Microsoft account afterwards:

    Note: After linking a Microsoft account to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be linked to other accounts. Even if you unlink, the Microsoft and PlayStation® accounts can only be relinked to the original accounts. Again, this is a Sony restriction. It is not a limitation imposed by Microsoft/Minecraft.
