    Microsoft acquires rights to Gears


    a little disappointed that it'll remain an xbox exclusive, and that they are going to milk the franchise...but if the games are good and the story is interesting, i wont mind more games in the series. the gears franchise has always been kinda meh for me,
    gears was the first game i bought on 360 but i have yet to finish it and gears 2 is the first collectors edition i bought, but i do enjoy the games...

    Microsoft to acquire Mojang?

    Microsoft should spend their money more wisely....I hope that's only a rumor and stay that way.

    I was hoping for a new IP as well. But I'm not surprised in the least that the announcement turned out to be Gears. I'll probably give it a rent for the campaign when it comes out.

    I love Gears 3. I loved all the gears before that. Then Judgment came out and like Halo 4, I stopped caring about the series.

    Not sure how I feel about this, kind of wanted it to stay dead for a while longer as judgment just looked so bad I didn't even want to go near it.

    Im kind of glad someone else is picking up the Gears series, after Judgement it just seemed like Epic ran out of ideas and effort.
