    Not sure if this is going to show up in the right part of the right forum, but...

    My 2 kids recently forced me to get Minecraft for them.

    Steep learning curve on many levels, hence the slightly disorganised way the accounts are organised as you will see from the below.

    State of play now is that each boy has a Java account. One is Mojang, waiting to migrate to the Microsoft child account I have set up for this boy and one is through my personal Microsoft account.

    They also have a Bedrock account each. One is tied to my wife's Microsoft account. The other is tied to my other son's recently made Microsoft Child account.

    What I'd like to do is take the Minecraft Java account that is under my Microsoft account for myself. We have made a family server and I'd like to play the kids on it.

    But if I take that account I will need to give on of my son's a replacement Java account. But his child Microsoft account is already tied to a Bedrock account.

    How do I achieve what I want? Can one child have 2 child Microsoft accounts, one tied to Minecraft Java and one tied to Minecraft Bedrock?

    Assigning Minecraft account to a diffrent Microsoft account

    Since my Microsoft account was linked to my Minecraft account I lost access to my Minecraft account cause someone deleted my Microsoft account. Now Im not sure what happens but I was wondering if i would be possible to link a diffrent Microsoft account to an already migrated Minecraft account.

    Unfortunately not. If the Microsoft account that your Minecraft account was migrated to was deleted then your Minecraft would be essentially deleted along with it.

    What do you mean by mobile Minecraft account? Your "Minecraft account" is actually your Microsoft account. You sign in to Minecraft using your Microsoft account. Do you receive a notification on your phone instead of the Switch?

    No, you cannot directly transfer your Minecraft Java account to a different Microsoft account. Each Minecraft Java account is associated with a specific Microsoft account, and it's not possible to change this association directly. The only way to play Minecraft Java with a different Microsoft account would be to create a new Minecraft Java account and purchase the game again.
