Microsoft account Xbox game ownership lost

Update, suddenly I realized the first time I bought this account was from my friend. He told me that this account is bought from a third party that was offering services to buy Minecraft accounts purely from the official website in exchange for Rupiah after further research it turns out that the account belonged to somebody and that somebody after 6 years could finally take over his account that was stolen by the third party. I'm feeling scammed but also glad for that person whose account got stolen 6 years ago. Hopefully, everybody could take some lessons from what I've experienced on buying a Minecraft account!

Well, I think this article says it all for me. I don't want any part in this clusterf**k of DRM and account-tied games and "required, but not all the time, but still required" internet connection BS.

I understand you can't connect to Xbox Live with your Microsoft Accounts. If you've forgotten your Microsoft Account Email an
Xbox Support representative may be able to pull up your account using the Gamertag itself. Of course you would have to be able to verify ownership of the account before any information

Recover and reset your lost Microsoft account password

It will not lock you out. Xbox had a major server issue 3 days ago and it started saying users they don't own games, and games started to ask to the purchased again.

Just do the steps above so Xbox can properly connect to your account again and download/check the ownership of your games.

All your games are linked to your Microsoft Account, they will not be lost by just removing an account from Xbox. You can see all your purchases on:

I'm afraid there's nothing further that can be done if you can't verify your ownership of the account through the online form. To protect customer privacy, Microsoft can only help customers verify their account ownership through the online password recovery process.
