    My account was hacked and they changed my email and phone number so i cannot login. I filled out the microsoft recovery form but it asked for my email and since the hacker changed my email i keep getting a message saying invalid email. I set up a new account with a new email address in hopes microsoft can retrieve my hacked account.

    Has this happened to anyone and if so what is the chance of microsoft recovering my hacked account. Im so mad because I had just added my christmas gift cards and now I cant get into xbox live.

    Any help/advide appreciated.

    Hi Jey! I am sorry to hear about what happened.

    Unfortunately, Microsoft account and Xbox profile are only one single account. If your Microsoft account was hacked, everything in it including your Xbox stuff is part of it. The only option you could get back to your original account or Xbox profile is to recover the hacked Microsoft account itself.

    Hello JSanch20 and Happy New Year, you can contact Xbox customer service via chat, and ask Xbox Advocate to do an A.T.O (Account Takeover) however it will ask you for most of the information you have filled out in the webform to be forwarded to Microsoft and they review your case.

    need to delete XBox from my account as I was hacked in the past and I do not utilize XBox

    Need assistance on deleting XBox from my Microsoft Account. I was hacked in the past and charged for use and purchases related to XBox.
    The Microsoft account IS the Xbox account. They are one in the same so there is no way to delete the Xbox account without also permanently deleting your Microsoft account.
