Microsoft account with same email was deleted for no reason

So I bought minecraft a few years back on a microsoft account and now I wanted to play it again. I tried to login to my microsoft account, but it said that it doesn't exist, even though I was still logged in the microsoft store on my computer. I was looking for help online, but didn't find any so I just tried to create a new account on the same email and it let me, but it's a fresh account instead of the one I had. I tried downloading minecraft launcher on the microsoft store on the old logged in account, but it asks for a password when I try to and when I type in the correct password it says the password is wrong, I tried resetting the password multiple times, but it still says it's wrong. I am currently very angry about the situation, I couldn't care less about a deleted account if I hadn't spent money on it. But is this it? Was my microsoft account along with my minecraft account associated with it deleted for no reason without any warning? I tried contacting customer support, but none of the preset issues (which you have to select to actually contact them) applied to my issue. If it is at all possible for someone to look into my situation I would greatly appreciate it. I just want to have my account with minecraft bought on it back. I still have the redeemable purchase code which I used to redeem minecraft on mojang website. I still have the microsoft emails for email verification confirmation from the first time I created my account. I don't know where else to ask for help.

Edit: I have a suspicion that my account was hacked, because when I tried to download mc launcher on microsoft store and it asked for password, the option below forgot password was "Send code to (unknown email)" that was not an email I recognize, so I set up passwordless login through my phone and that option changed to my own email. However it still wont let me log in now it shows error 0x80048820.

I'm going to be honest... Sincerely the possibilities to recover the account are very low (just to not say 0)

Probably the hacker deleted your alias (email) and added a new one alias (email)

Just to let you know, the possibility of an account deletion can't be considered in your case. Because when the account closure request starts. You have up to 60 days to sign in with your credentials and cancel this request

I haven't added any phone numbers if I recall correctly and the log in email was the only one, is it possible that the hacker deleted my account and enough days of inactivity passed that it was fully approved in which case I'm screwed.

You can try the recovery form. But don't use the current email address (because probably you're going to "recover" the recently created Microsoft account)

On the recovery form, try alternative emails if you added one to the account
If not, try instead using a phone number previously added as well

Will the recovery work though? Since I have created a new account with the same email today. I'm still kind of scared of logging out of my old account on microsoft store, since I think once I try to log in again it will log me into the new account.

If you think that your account has been compromised (and sincerely, I also think the same) you can try to recover it following steps here:

When you create a new account with the same email address, that doesn't restore the previous purchase. Because all purchases and progress are linked to the Microsoft account itself.
(The email, known as alias. Can be changed / deleted leaving the Microsoft account intact)
