Microsoft account signed out on Minecraft bedrock and seemingly the account is completely gone

That's odd

May I know if your minecraft Bedrock edition is on the latest version?

If yes, could you try sign out and sign in with the account that owns Bedrock edition from both Microsoft store and Xbox app

Also, you could try using another Microsoft account that owns the game to see if the issue persists (can be a friend's account)

The error message you're seeing means that the Microsoft account you're trying to use to sign in to Minecraft Bedrock is already connected to another Minecraft account. This could be because you previously used a different Minecraft account with the same Microsoft account, or because someone else has used your Microsoft account to sign in to Minecraft.



To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:



1. Go to the Xbox website and sign in with the Microsoft account you're trying to use to sign in to Minecraft Bedrock.

2. Click on "Profile & settings" and then "Account settings".

3. Under "Your info", click on "Sign-in preferences".

4. Make sure that "Ask for my password" is selected under "Security preferences".

5. Scroll down to "Apps and services" and click on "Apps and services that can access your account".

6. Look for Minecraft Bedrock in the list of apps and services and click on it.

7. Click on "Remove these permissions" and confirm that you want to remove Minecraft Bedrock's access to your Microsoft account.

8. Try signing in to Minecraft Bedrock again with your Microsoft account.

Yes, as the minecraft edition on the phone is also bedrock
As long as you sign in with that account in your laptop you can use that progress

If you want to purchase the windows edition with the "side" account you can sign out temporarily from Microsoft store and sign in with that account
After that sign in again with your "prime" account and once you download the minecraft launcher sign in with the "side" account there

Based on additional research, if you bought Minecraft Java and Bedrock together but can only play Minecraft for Windows, it may be due to family sharing. If you are playing Minecraft for Windows through family sharing, you may not be able to access Minecraft: Java Edition without buying on this account.



You can also try signing out on Microsoft Store App, Xbox App, as well as Minecraft launcher then sign back in.

Or, try to validate first if the transaction is successful. Please sign in to Microsoft account | Order history and check if you can see the order from there stated as “completed”. Once confirmed sign out on Microsoft Store App, Xbox App, as well as Minecraft launcher then sign back in.

Hi Abi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that your daughter is having issues playing Minecraft due to an error that she don't own the game.

There are instances where the account profile gets corrupted. To fix this, completely sign out from Minecraft and sign back in to resync the profile, including all the purchases.

Open the Settings tab in Minecraft and go to your Profile

Select "Clear Account Sign In Data" and confirm, then exit the game

Relaunch Minecraft

Try to sign in again using your Microsoft account

Open Minecraft.

Select Settings.

Select Account.

Select Sign out of your Microsoft Account.

Select Sign in for free!

You will be presented with an alphanumeric code and prompted to go to aka.ms/remoteconnect.

Once you have gone to the Remote Connect page, enter the alphanumeric code you were given.

Enter your Microsoft account credentials and sign in.

Note: Please make sure that you're logging in to the correct Minecraft account where you purchased the games and add-ons.
