Microsoft Account Password Phished/Hacked which includes my Minecraft Account

Hello, thank you for helping me, but I can’t seem to find ATO anywhere. The best I could find was a support call. While trying to find it in the past few days I made multiple recovery account forms, 3 on another new account and 1 on a another account. I have been getting no responses back from all of them, which I don’t know what the issue is for.

I used my original e-mail on the first 3 recovery account forms and a e-mail that showed up while trying to log in onto my PC windows account. Which I probably should log out of, I don’t know if it can deal any harm to my actual computer, but it does probably show the e-mail that is currently used for my lost account. Which I don’t know if I should use that or the original e-mail I used that got changed like a few times.

Hello Kai, I'm sorry about what happened to your account, however in this case you should contact Xbox Customer Service via chat and request an ATO (Account Takeover), this is because this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and procedures that Xbox Support has.

However, ATO is a similar procedure to the online form, but done by a Microsoft agent, it will need as much information as possible for you to do the procedure.

Each account recovery case is unique, and if you request the ATO, you must wait for a response from Microsoft's investigation department.

However, if they added 2FA to the account Microsoft will not be able to recover your account and what it will do is suspend it.

phishing includes gathering information about you name address anything that can get an account details typically thru social sites or social engineering



the media outlets have been reporting this for years

its not hacking its indentity theft

By your question, are you saying that you cannot link your PayPal account with your Xbox Live account? If so, is there any error message when you try to add it? If yes to that, can you provide it?

Addressing the hacking accounts, Xbox and Microsoft are very secure with this stuff. The only way that Xbox Accounts are usually "hacked" are by members who use a Phishing method, which tricks users into giving the member their Username and Password. Other
than that, it is close to impossible to "hack" and Xbox Live account.

Okay, first off, your account wasn't "hacked". It was phished, which means the user(s) tempted you into giving them personal information, such as your password, email Etc. You need to call support (1800-4My-Xbox) to make an unauthorized investigation claim
for the account immediately.
