Microsoft account not letting me access correct profile in Minecraft launcher

Verify that your license is intact and that you're testing with the correct Microsoft account, log into minecraft.net with your Microsoft account and look at https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/profile. Do you see both your Minecraft Profile name, and your XBox GamerTag

If it is intact, download the win 7/8 version of the minecraft launcher from minecraft.net and you should be able to access the full game while signed in with your Microsoft account. I’m guessing the Microsoft store minecraft launcher has a very bad bug and it seriously needs addressing.

There are two ways to install Minecraft Launcher, first is through Microsoft Store (Minecraft Launcher) and second is through Minecraft website (Download Minecraft & Server Software | Minecraft). Since you have issues with Minecraft Launcher, we recommend your try to uninstall the launchers you have installed and make sure you are using the correct account on Microsoft Store.

Then, visit Minecraft website to check your account that should show no Buy now option for any of the game versions of Minecraft (Login | Minecraft).

Next, try to install the Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store and see if issue persist.

The last resort is to download the launcher and install it from Minecraft website. See if issue persist for the game.

Thank you so much for letting me know. Once making the changes, kindly sign out on your Minecraft launcher, and restart your PC before signing back in. Make sure that you're signed in under the correct Microsoft account.

If making the new account lets you access the launcher, you can try checking the account dropdown for the correct account and setting it to active. If you cannot login, is it possible the Microsoft account it was attached to was deleted at some point between now and when you last played? And does the same thing happen if you launch the Minecraft launcher separately instead of through Curseforge?

Did you try to uninstall and install Minecraft again?

Also go to Minecraft website and download the Windows 7/8 launcher. Try playing the game using it. The Windows 10 launcher is having this "play demo" bug.
