    Microsoft account migration causing problems with Minecraft offline


    I was recently prompted in the Minecraft Launcher to migrate my Mojang account to a Microsoft one. I would really rather not have to, but seeing as eventually I will have no choice (which I really do not appreciate!), I decided to just go ahead and do it. It seemed to work fine, but ever since doing it, I am unable to play Minecraft without internet access. The "Play" button just says "Play Demo". Again, it works with internet, but I don't always have internet. How am I supposed to play Minecraft offline in singleplayer mode?

    I think I already have my Microsoft account selected. At the top left it says my username and underneath that "Microsoft account".

    So, it seems that the issues is not fixed, at least not permanently. I tried doing what you said and re-logging in, but it still says "play demo" about half the time. It seems a bit random, I don't know why that is.

    I deleted my Mojang account (which still showed up as an option on the login screen), and now it seems to be working.
