    This is probably simple and hard at the same time.

    I set up my primary Xbox Gamertag back in 2007 with my then primary email address @yahoo. Some time later maybe 2009, I created a secondary account that was used for a few months this was using my @gmail email.

    Fast forward to 2020 and obviously my @gmail is my primary email. I never use the @yahoo any more. However this is where things get mixed up. My Microsoft account which has my 365 subscription is on my @gmail. I want to sign up for Games Pass for PC but
    not with the secondary Gamertag that is now shared with my @gmail.

    So in summary:

    Primary Gamertag linked to old no longer used email @yahoo

    Current email used for Microsoft account and 365 subscription @gmail

    Secondary Gamertag linked to current email address @gmail

    I want the secondary Gamertag linked to my @yahoo, and primary Gamertag linked to my @gmail. That way when I log in to my Microsoft account, and add Game Pass it will recognize my primary Gamertag.

    I have not used the secondary Gamertag in over 10 years.

    unfortunatly if there are issues directly related to Microsoft accounts you have to rely on advocacy Team doing there Job, and they surely dont drop customers just like that.

    My name is welcome to the community.

    Hello Timmythedinosaur, as this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and neither your account, we can not specify the actual reason or accurately check this issue of your account with Gamertag.

    I would suggest setting up Xbox Live support agent.

    The agent would be able to find your account by searching your Gamertag. If you can fortify your account, they'll let you know what email to use to sign into the right account.

    I wish you had access to the service request # to see for yourself the pain that I as a customer have to go through. Regardless , I just wish my account gets fixed - 6 months for a fix.......if I had a brand new account and lost it I wouldn't care.

    I'm shocked that this case is taking more than 6 months, after a few months the xbox support team didn't bother contacting me :( I have to keep chasing up.
