Microsoft Account Issue / Account Data Lost?

While I was attempting to sign into Minecraft.net using the Microsoft account I've used forever, I received a message that there was no Microsoft Account associated with my email.

I then went into the Windows store and noticed that all my purchased apps were missing, again while signed in using the Microsoft account I've always used.

I went back into Minecraft.net and tried to sign in again and it said it would send me a code when I pressed ok. I pressed it but I wasn't receiving the code in my email so then I went back and selected to create a new account. I signed in using the same Microsoft account and password and then it indicated that I had not purchased Minecraft and was asking me to create a new Gamertag.

As I look into my Microsoft account now, I also see that it has no purchases under my name. I do have an email regarding the gifting of Minecraft Dungeons to the same account and even that appears to be missing from my account.

I'm not sure what else to do at this point as I'm absolutely certain that this is the correct account I've been using. It seems like my account has lost its data somehow? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Are you signed into the right Microsoft account?

Sometimes this happens when people sign into a second account, then don't realise when they try, and access games purchased on that account.

With Minecraft, did you migrate your Mojang account to your Microsoft account?

All Mojang accounts have slowly been migrated to Microsoft accounts, thus transferring the purchased content over to the Microsoft account. Here is a support article that explains this: Mojang to Microsoft account migration FAQ | Xbox Support

My fellow ambassador is trying to help but the link that he put in was for recovering your account but you would need to know the email address associated with the account that you are trying to recover.

If you know the gamertag that was associated with the account you can contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them the gamertag and if they can verify ownership of the account then they can give you the email address that is
associated with the account and then can go to the link in the previous post and try and recover the account.

account data from one account to another. I recommend to try the following article:

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand you are experiencing an issue with logging into the Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Short answer, there is no workaround to check the passwords.

I recommend to try the following troubleshooting article:

- You need a Microsoft account so that Microsoft Solitaire can save your game progress data to the cloud
If you have a Microsoft account, just sign in to it from the game.
If you need help finding your Microsoft account email address or password, use the

Lost Account Solution or the
Lost Password Solution.
