Microsoft Account Hacked with Alias

Recently, I'm quite sure a programmed malware stole my Microsoft account.

When I tried logging into Minecraft through my Microsoft account, it showed that my Microsoft account doesn't exist. I thought, I never deleted my account. When I tried to reopen my account, it was under the alias of an email that I do not recognize. I suspect the malware created an alias on my account, made it the primary and deleted my old one, hence transferring the access to the account.

How do I get my old account back? There are currently no solutions on the forum. Since my old account "doesn't exist", I cannot take any security measures to recover my account.

I am currently posting this under a new Microsoft account, but with the same email I used as my compromised account.

I am willing to do all means to recover my account and verify my identity. My Xbox gamertag was: anth88ny.

Again, I can verify my identity through other means if needed. Please help.

Sorry to hear about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. Just to set your expectation, due to our account safety and security, only us the account owners have the ability to recover our accounts and verify their ownership. Even a Microsoft Support cannot recover our accounts on our behalf because they're protected by the security information we have setup on our accounts which we only have access to.

Since your email address was replaced already, you cannot use your own email address to recover your account. You must know the current email address of your account which must be the hacker’s email address to start the account recovery process. Without it, you cannot start the recovery process because it's the primary key of the account already. Pleas also note that Xbox Support can't provide this info, even if you know your gamertag.

I suggest that you check your mailboxes (inbox, spam/junk folders) to find traces of the new complete email address that's currently linked to your original account. If the account was added to an Xbox console, it would be best to check it from there too.

If you knew the complete new email, you may try to reset the account password through https://account.live.com/pw
***Make sure to sign out any account signed in to https://account.microsoft.com website before starting an account recovery.
***Use the new or hacker's email address as the account you're trying to get back into.

If it doesn’t work, try to fill out the account recovery form on https://account.live.com/acsr

When i tried to fill out the form i put the email that got hacked but it just says “The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist.” Even know it still does just with a persons alias

I don't know if this helps but you could try making an alias on microsoft account. I don't think it changes the account but I think it does change the e-mail address seeing as you got hacked (happend to me too) unless I'm wrong.
