Microsoft Account Hacked - is there any way to recover my Minecraft account? I have the...

Hello, as the title says, my Microsoft account was compromised (hacked) around a week ago due to me falling for an in game Minecraft account scam. My security information was immediately changed, and the account transferred to a new Microsoft account. My Microsoft account was then deleted, or deactivated - either way, I can no longer access it as it says "This account does not exist". I (obviously) did not have two factor authentication enabled on my account, which I appreciate is my own wrongdoing.

The first thing I did was contact Minecraft support, but because my account has been migrated to Microsoft, I was directed to their support system. I have tried the account recovery form, which claims to take 24 hours, but I have yet to receive any response over a week later. But I doubt this will be any use anyway, because my account has been deleted (I believe). As far as I can see there is no way to create a ticket or ring a support line (the one provided is automated and just directs you to the website).

So, I know with previous cases of people losing their accounts to similar scams, they were able to recover the account by using their transaction ID. I have my transaction ID and can provide it to the appropriate person upon request. However, I should clarify that my Mojang account was bought in 2014, so the payment was made to them, not to Microsoft - will this prevent me from recovering it through them?

If I am unable to recover the account, is there any way for me to lock the account or have it deleted (again, by using the transaction ID) through Microsoft? This will hopefully prevent the hacker/scammer from selling the account on through the account market, which is against ToS (or at least it was Mojang's), and prevent it from being used to replicate the scam I fell for. If providing my transaction ID is not enough to achieve this, is there any way for me to get the account locked by showing proof of the DMs with the scammer - including them asking me for funds to have the account back, them sending the counterfeit link, etc? Would I need to show proof of the account being sold over a website for this to happen? Advice on this would be much appreciated.
