Microsoft account hacked by rambler.ru email address, please help.

So I am dealing with a problem here where a rambler.ru email address deleted all my security info on my Microsoft account and replaced it with theirs. I noticed other accounts linked to my yahoo address were also compromised. Unfortunately, I did not have on 2 step verification, a mistake i will never make again.
Anyways I filled out a recovery form successfully and managed to get back into the account after providing my billing info. However, I was unable to change the security info back without access to his email. So, I called up Microsoft support and I provided my info to them over the phone/secure email attachment. After talking to a support rep and providing tons of info I was sent an email by cdoc case management or something and they told me they switched all my info to this new account. All i had to do was sign out of my old account and into my new one and my Xbox gamertag and other Microsoft info would be transferred over. I did just that however nothing changed or transferred over. So now I am super paranoid about all these emails I've been giving my info to, they all have a mircosoft.com domain in the address, does that mean they are legit? Anyone also have a similar experience before with their account being hacked? Did it get resolved or am I doomed to lose all my info and hundreds of dollars worth of purchases?
