    Microsoft Account Expired E-Mail


    This is a strange situation, but I am hoping maybe someone can help shine some light on anything (potentially) that I could do.

    For reference, I have 2 separate Microsoft accounts and can log into both of them with no issues.

    One of these accounts is a Charter.net e-mail that I created almost 15 years ago and have been using as my primary account login when I play on Xbox. Problem is, the company for this e-mail address changed into Spectrum.com roughly 10 years ago and they no longer have any record of my e-mail with them as Chartner.net.

    For my other account (a Google e-mail) I have full access to this and have actually used it as my primary e-mail address for the past 10 years, but is in no way affiliated with my Xbox account. I know I should not have waited the past 10 years to just now try and access the other account (lesson learned), but I am also unable to merge these 2 accounts together through Microsoft.

    I really need to update my old Charter/Spectrum Microsoft account to instead reflect my Google e-mail address to keep track of any purchases/e-mails/notifications that come through Xbox but have no way to access that information since this e-mail account is forever lost.

    Any ideas?

    Sorry to say but is not possible to merge Microsoft account / transfer content or any type of content between Microsoft accounts

    Do you have access to that old account or when was the last time that you accessed to it?

    New Minecraft launcher won't connect since I changed my main alias from my Microsoft account.

    Ok. Let's say I have 4 E-Mail adresses. 1, 2, 3, and 4. The Mojang account was created with E-Mail 1 and the Microsoft account also with E-Mail 1. But I had also a different Microsoft account with E-Mail 2. Once I changed the Microsoft account with E-Mail 1 to E-Mail 3. And then the Microsoft account with E-Mail 2 to E-Mail 1. After that I realised that Minecraft does't work with E-Mail 1. Then I remembered that I had a Mojang account with E-Mail 1 so I migrated this Mojang account to an another Microsoft account with E-Mail 4. I originally owned Minecraft with the Microsoft account with E-Mail 2(Now 1) and with the Mojang account with E-Mail 1(Now 4)

    I'm sorry that it's really complicated.

    When Minecraft stopped working, I used my Microsoft account. And this issue happened after I changed my main alias from E-Mail 2 to E-Mail 1. I can play Minecraft if I log in with my E-Mail 2.

    I purchased Minecraft on my Mojang account before the migration, but I don't use my mojang account and that Microsoft account that was migrated to.

    With my Mojang account (E-Mail 1) migrated to Microsoft account (E-Mail 4) I bad the Java Edition. With my first Microsoft account (E-Mail 1, now 3) I had Minecraft Bedrock Edition. And with the other MIcrosoft account (E-Mail 2, now 1) I have both Java and Bedrock.

    I purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Microsoft Account (E-Mail 1, now 3) from the Microsoft Store and I purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Microsoft account (E-Mail 2, now 1) from the Microsoft Store but the Java Edition I purchased from minecraft.net. On my Mojang account (E-Mail 1, now migrated to Microsoft Account with E-Mail 3) I bought Minecraft Java from minecraft.net.

    Hello!

    You wouldn't be able t create him a new Microsoft/xbox account and migrate anything over to it. You can switch the Microsoft account to be set to his e-mail address. That would effectively make it his account. However, since the account has a Microsoft
    e-mail (Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, etc.) that e-mail would likely still be associated with the account. You may be able to get support to migrate your e-mail address to a new Microsoft account.

    It's at the bottom of the page. You may be required to wait before setting up a new Microsoft Account using the same e-mail. If your account is using a Microsoft e-mail (Hotmail, Outlook or Live) then that will close the e-mail as well.
