Microsoft account doesn't exist but it does

A few months ago (though I don't recall when precisely), I switched my minecraft account to microsoft, and was able to log in to my account without any problems. Although I haven't played in a while, I attempted to log in today and was informed that my Microsoft account didn't exist. I tried creating a new account using the same email because I was perplexed to see if that would help recover the account and allow me to get back in, but that only produced a new Microsoft account that isn't connected to my minecraft account.

As I never logged out, my account is now active on my laptop, but I am unable to determine whose email was used to access the account. When I went to log in using the new Microsoft account, it instead created a new minecraft account that I had to purchase in order to enter the game.

One of the reasons that you get the "this account does not exist" message is because it may be inactive due to lack of use, so you can try to recover it through this link:

Have you received any emails from Microsoft regarding some changes made on your account? Please review your emails to check for those information. Don't forget to check your spam or junk folder. There's a possibility that someone was able to get into your account and made some changes on it.

Please also review your other email addresses or accounts via https://account.microsoft.com website to check if they're the right account you used to migrate your Minecraft account.

There's also a chance that you've made a typo. Make sure to review that your email name and domain are correctly spelled.

Im having a separate problem where whenever i load up or close down a game itll sign me out, and to fix this i need to delete the account and clear the cache. Afterwards, i need to re download the profile, but to do that i need to know if i can, otherwise
ill have lost a profile with money put into it.

Did you try using a phone number that might be tied up to your account? Because you might be using a different email to that account before. It will not change the email to that account if you do not have access to the primary email before and most especially the security proofs.

Had the same issue contact support and waste a hour and they will fix it apparently its a server bug that they are trying to fix
