microsoft account doesent exist even tho i didnt delete it

This is a third-party email — it's a Gmail address that I used to log in to my Microsoft account.

I never deleted the account myself, and I did not receive any emails from Microsoft warning me about closure, deletion, or suspicious activity.

When I try to sign in at https://account.live.com/ using my Gmail, it says:
“This Microsoft account doesn't exist.”

However, when I try to create a new Microsoft account using the same Gmail, it says:
“This account already exists.”

This makes me believe the account is either locked, corrupted, or soft-deleted without my knowledge. It is also tied to my Minecraft license, and I no longer have access to that either.

Please help me verify and recover access to this account. I can provide any additional information needed to prove ownership.

But it says i need my sons email but when we put it in it says that the account doesent exist
