it is not possible to transfer data from one account to another.

The profile is linked to a single account, and it is the same account, just access the account on the new xbox in the same way, remembering that your account can only be set as primary on one xbox at a time

Nothing can be moved between accounts. You would just sign in to your old account on the new console.

So is Microsoft unable to access the data as well? Then who can access the data which says which Microsoft account is linked to my PSN account?

I know I'm not getting the account back, but surely there must be a way to just transfer the data to my new Microsoft account right? The account itself is not what matters, it's the data (which includes the account I've had for a decade). Is it possible to get that data transferred to my new account?

Hello Gilly, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

If you delete data from your account it is only for the device the account is on. Microsoft would still have access to the data.
