Microsoft Account Custom Gamerpic

My account was a child account on xbox, and I recently changed the birth date to an adult account, and i now have access to all adult account features, except for custom gamerpic, which still says I must be older. I was wondering if there is anything I could
do to fix this problem.

Xbox custom gamerpic not being old enough

So im trying to use a custom gamerpic through the xbox beta app but its telling me im not old enough but in my microsoft account im older than 18

I can't add a custom gamerpic and I have an adult account

Hello Sir/Ma'am. Whenever I try to give myself a custom gamerpic, I'm given the same message: : Choose one of the featured images. Custom images are only available for adult accounts. My Microsoft Account is 27 years old, and I'm an adult account in my Microsoft
Account Family. Help would be very much appreciated. Best Wishes.

Changing your birthdate on account.microsoft.com does not change the birthdate on your Xbox account. The birthdate on your Xbox account is permanent. There is no way to circumvent this restriction.

Custom gamerpics or images are only available for adult Microsoft Accounts and sadly, there is currently no way to use a custom gamerpic on child accounts.

You have to be 18 year on your microsoft account otherwise it wont let you create a custom gamerpic

They would have to use the stock gamerpics. It's not possible to use a custom gamerpic for child accounts.

Hey there Harrison,

In regards to the Custom Gamerpic, your account would need to be an adult account, not just set to adult defaults under your Privacy and online safety.

As stated in the support article for
Changing your Xbox One gamerpic, Custom images are only available for adult Microsoft accounts. So if your account has a child DOB on it you won't be allowed to change it until the account is graduated to an adult account.
