Microsoft account closing and my Minecraft account will be lost

Recently, when I started playing Minecraft and went on to servers, they all told me to "Confirm your Minecraft account" before proceeding.

However, when I went to try to confirm my account, it always would open my Outlook mail to a completely different account like:

*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (for example)

I didn't know what was going on, and I couldn't access the mail to my actual email. That strange dead account didn't have any personal information or anything. When I went to the Minecraft website, I wanted to change my current Microsoft account to another one I had, but it wasn't possible. However, after a bit of research, I figured out that the Microsoft account associated with my Microsoft account is permanent. Therefore, my course of action was to close the Microsoft account associated with my Minecraft account to be able to migrate it to another Microsoft account.

Currently, I don't have access to my mail, and it always redirects me to another dead or alternate Microsoft account that isn't usable. or mine., impossible to interact with it. With my Microsoft account closing, I was hoping that Minecraft would recognize a "lost account" and I could change the email associated with it to another.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I could do?

Not too clear about what the situation is, as I understand you migrated your Mojang account to a different Microsoft account but you will like to have it on another Microsoft account

Once the Migration has been finished you can't change the account, and if you delete the Microsoft account currently linked to your purchase of Minecraft, you will lost the game and all progress on that account

if you cannot access your microsoft account and have 2fa active then they are right all is lost, and as the microsoft account is the account that minecraft migrated too you have now lost minecraft if you cannot access the microsoft account.

Since my Microsoft account was linked to my Minecraft account I lost access to my Minecraft account cause someone deleted my Microsoft account. Now Im not sure what happens but I was wondering if i would be possible to link a diffrent Microsoft account to an already migrated Minecraft account.

Unfortunately not. If the Microsoft account that your Minecraft account was migrated to was deleted then your Minecraft would be essentially deleted along with it.

Hello Kathy,

Thanks for pointing out the causes that could lead to an automatic closing of my account. That was really helpful.

However, since I do have active purchases on my account (Minecraft Java & Bedrock Edition), I don't believe that that would be terms to close an inactive account, and the credentials used to login to my lost account I know to be true. Therefore, the only way that my account was lost seems to be the worst-case scenario, someone else gained access to it.

I can't use any of Microsoft's online account recovery tools because I never connected this Minecraft-Only Outlook account to my main ones (no recovery email, phone number, etc.). Since Microsoft's servers don't remember the account to a certain extent (account doesn't exist on login, can't use this username on account creation), I can't recover the account by myself.

Is there any chance that someone at Microsoft can re-activate my account, or better yet add my email here as a recovery email for the lost one so I can finish up the account recovery process myself?

So is my account lost forever? I'm fine if it is but I just want access to Minecraft account again. Is there a way to transfer my Minecraft account to another Microsoft account so I can still use it?
