Microsoft Account cannot find my Xbox 360 Device

I was hoping by registering my Xbox 360 to my account it might correct the region settings. I purchased it in Germany and cannot get it to recognize it is now in Region 1 (USA). My address, Region and Locale have been changed in all my accounts and on
the device. I have followed all of the online help directions on what to change and have done them all. Yet it still states it cannot play US Region discs.

I am trying to get my Xbox to recognize US Discs. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

what exactly do you want to achieve with registering the console to your account?

It might be the case that if the console is already registered to a different account it may not be added to a different one, but that's just guessing on my end.

Perhaps if you explain the reason why, it might be possible to provide alternate ways to do the thing you want to achieve.

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, there is no way to have a console read discs from outside of the region it was made for.

I am having the same problem. SmartGlass for Xbox 360 says it cannot find my console.

My Xbox 360 console is connected via Wifi. I have tried connecting with the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app via Windows 10 (2 different PCs - one Wifi, one wired), Android phone, Windows Mobile 10 and iPad.

I have tried restarting all of my networking equipment and devices multiple times.

The error I receive is 0xc00d11cd (0xc101000c) on the Windows 10 PCs.

The Windows Mobile 10 phone says Status code: 1012

I have tried all the suggested steps - making sure console is on, making sure I'm using the same Microsoft account, and I have the Connected Devices setting enabled on the console.
