Microsoft a Fn Ripoff

i just purchased a brand new copy of Destiny for the xbox one, when i opened it up there was a little flier for the 2 expansion packs. ok no worries i thought i'll go check how much they will cost for each of them.... and this is where the ripoff is... sorry
you can no longer buy the expansion packs unless you buy the bundle with destiny in it...

so microscam wants me to buy 2 copies of a game just to get the expansion packs... how about a trip to fair trading or consumer affairs in australia for scamming?

buying a game disc then forced to rebuy the game as a digital download just to get the rest of the expansion packs... that = scam.

Minecraft is a ripoff of Infiniminer... That means we should probably not play it or support it.

 

You can only get it as a seasons pass

FYI it's not ms but bungie which s what they did a cross all consoles

They removed the other dlc separate from the expansions that's the right of any publisher

 

FYI this is an Activision issue since they are the publisher that's what your office will tell you and products CNS be discontinued by law at anytime

Sorry for the confusion... it's done this way to save you money - the Legendary edition of the game contains the base game and all three expansions available to this point. It sells for $60 in the US. If you were to buy the season pass (for the first two
expansions) and The Taken King expansion separately, that would be $75 on its own. You're saving $15 by "re-buying" the base game.

 

so why hasnt the hard copy of the game been recalled to stop people in australia being scammed out of money... so far $45 for the hard copy, plus $36 for the first 2 expansions via the xbox360 store (been told its transferable to xbox one) so that would
be $81... but still if i was to re-buy the game i'm still out $45 because some *** forgot to recall the hardcopy of the game or inform me that there is a bundle that would save me money on the xbox store making all hardcopies useless and there for a breach
of the fair trade act.

 

Sorry to hear it. The store you purchased the game from should have informed you of the difference in the copies that are out there although I agree that the base games should have been recalled by the developer.

Are you able to return the base game that you bought to the store for an exchange for the Legendary or Collectors Edition?

 

onyx62is i wish i could, the store is how ever 138km away as i'm in the bush. so i either rely on direct downloads or when i do go into a store i expect not to be ripped off because of microsoft or a publisher. i will how ever forgo spending any more money
on destiny and just play the content thats in the base game and then go else where for my entertainment.

 

The fault lies entirely with Activision.

They are greedy money grabbers.

Anyone who bought the original Destiny as well as the first two expansion packs have been totally ripped off you need to pay through the nose to upgrade to the taken king.

It's exactly the same on the ps4
