    I recently purchased the headset that comes with the original xbox and i can only hear the chat audio I,ve tried everything and i just cant get it to work and when i attempt to yalk yhrough hame chat i cant

    Try to go to - Settings - Audio/Sound - and on the right check to see if its the box that shows the Name is Right

    There are two types of headsets, a stereo headset. Two ear pieces allows both chat and game play. And a chat headset, one ear piece and as the name implies, only allows chat, will not carry game play

    This didn't help at all... My account is in my hardrive, so I don't need to download it...and to chance my Windows live ID I need to get my account connected to xbox live, but when I do that my console says "Your Xbox Live membership information isn't valid.
    Use profile with a valid membership or download your profile from Xbox Live"... so can I chance my windows live ID in the internet or what should I do?
