Microphone works, but I can't be heard on the party chat.

Hello, lately I've been suffering a problem with the microphone of my headsets, yes, headsets.

When I connect the headset to the controller (a brand new headset), it just doesn't works.

Already tried hard rebooting the console, reconnecting the controller, checking the network, etc.

Could it be the controller? It's not an old controller, I bought it the last days of february of this year, hasn't have any damage or strong falls (unlike my old controller, rip), if it's not the controller, please tell me what could it be; I really don't
want to buy a new one.

Windows 10 Game Streaming Microphone Not Working!

So recently when Game Streaming through the Xbox App on Windows 10 I used to be able to talk to people with my microphone while game streaming in game chat and party chat, but after some updates, it no longer works and says no microphone detected! I've followed
EVERY step in setting the microphone as a default playback/recording device and no success. I can use the party chat feature in the Xbox App but I can't use my mic while streaming which is frustrating!

Check your network settings NAT status it should be 'open'

I had a similar problem & the headset had a small switch at the rear that had to be switched on. That's all I can suggest next to returning the set for refund?

I concur with NAT solution as it has been one of my issues until i figured it out by hitting "check again" till it shows the open message... Some folks you just cant run with or something in their setup screws up your mojo too so...its a mess all the time

Gotcha. I heard a rumor that they are working to fix party chat. Once I was in a party chat and I could hear my party AND hear the in-game chat for Battlefield 4. The rumor was they were going to revert it to the old party chat system by next month. I
forgot where I heard that so I can't source. Again, it was a rumor, so not sure its credibility.

question please...when in party chat, I can hear others, but they can't hear me. So far I've tried 2 different xbox ones, three controllers (one new) and three headsets (one new). My friend has tried two controllers and two headsets (one new).
NAT is open on both xboxes, microphone switched on in settings, mic not muted on the headset, volume turned up in settings. I've done a self / solo party test, which worked OK, circle around gamertag responds to voice. Help is appreciated as I'm stuck!

I am having similar issues with a new headset. We can pair and hear the game audio through the headset, but it is not signalling into, nor receiving any chat audio....

That generic support doesn't really apply here. The problem is with a PC microphone, not an Xbox One microphone. The Xbox App on PC detects the mic and it works if I start a party via the app, but it doesn't work in any capacity on the Xbox One for parties
or game chat.
