    Microphone wont work when webcam is plugged into xbox


    My microphone stops working as soon as my webcam is plugged in. Anyone knows how I can use my webcam and still record through my microphone? Logitec c922x and normal headphones is what I use.

    1. Under Audio & Video, then under Speakers, make sure your preferred speaker or headset is selected.
    2. Under Microphone, make sure your microphone or headset is selected.

    Many microphones wont work when plugged directly into the controller and require a headset adapter (one of those mute, volume up/down devices that plug into the bottom of your controller).

    If you have the Kinect it will work otherwise most USB webcams should be plug and play. Plug it in and when you go to stream look in the settings and it'll give you an option for the webcam.
