    Microphone won’t let me talk


    Hello everyone! I am having this problem with my mic where it wont pick up any sound but i can hear my friends in party and game volume ive updated my controller , my NAT is open , my mic isnt muted . Ive cleaned out my headphone jack , ive tried the same
    mic on another controller and i still have the problem can anyone tell me a fix

    Update.

    So the microphone lets me talk, and i can also hear party chat and voice messages. But cannot hear the game or normal xbox guide noises.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks for your quick feedback, I already have an HDMI 2.1 receiver but none of them allow me to plug in a microphone to talk to my friends.

    I don't want to connect a microphone or anything to my pad.

    Is there an xbox-certified device that allows me to plug in a wired microphone?

    It still won’t load when I hit the sign in prompt I’m in the right region and within the hours is there anyway I can just have a number to call to directly call ?
