Microphone not working ( turtle beach recon 70 xbox one s)

I bought a new official xbox one controller and a new turtle beach recon 70 headset, it only works if I hold the 3.5mm jack at an angle, I've tried everything! Even the cocktail stick in the pirt and tap it, it's not dirty as it's new ! So I guess its faulty?

Hello HazardousFall4, this is really weird, have you tested the headset with some other type of device like a mobile phone for example?

I ask this because we have to determine whether the issue is in the female control connector or on the headset connection pin.

Another thing you can do besides these tests, is to check if the control needs some firmware update.

I had the stealth 60 then I broke the thing that adjusts to your head lol so it dont fit anymore lol
