    Micecraft 'Unable to Connect to World' since upgrading to 1.16.1


    My two sons both have iPads and they both play Minecraft. They often play together and sometimes I join them on my PS4. Last weekend 21/11/20 we tried playing together and none of us could connect to the same world. My sons tried again today both on their
    iPads and the version had gone to v1.16.101 and again they cannot connect.

    Before the update we could all play together and nothing has changed since then. Same router, same settings, everything is the same apart from the version which auto-updated.

    I have checked the following:

    1. Both their XBox Live accounts are set to allow multiplayer games and to create and join groups.

    2. They are both running the same version of Minecraft.

    3. I've logged them in and out of their Xbox live accounts within the game.

    Can you please tell me what else to try because they are upset they can no longer play together?

    Hello Jasper, please make sure you sign in with the correct account, that micecraft was purchased on.

    bought a bundle on minecraft market place it's been 3 days and still havnt received it in game but on my email I have proof of payment and om my banking app I also see the money has gone through

    Was playing on my android phone , went onto the game and clicked micecraft marketplace bought a bundle that came with some world's and coins , since its on my phone it uses Google play store to make the perchace , I have an email from them stating its paid for , if I go on the app store and look at perchases itspaid for for on my banking app it is paid for so I don't understand why I havnt received my digital product yet

    If you have downloaded any maps it may be causing the issue. Try this:

    1. Put in a USB keyfob and copy your worlds/maps to it

    2. Delete Micecraft and anything else that has to do with it.

    3. Clear the cache

    4. Re-download Minecraft

    Before you restore any of your worlds/maps start up the game and see if it works. If it does then try adding in your worlds/maps one at a time and see if you have the problem again.
