    Mic randomly stops working.


    I would be playing a backward compatible game, the mic after a couple of hours of playing would just stop working and wouldn't be able to get it to work again. But once I stop playing the backwards compatible game the functionality of the mic would return,
    is the port on the controller messed up or do I have something in my settings that messing things up. Oh the mic that I am using was bought the day before posting this.

    Xbox Live randomly stops working.

    My Xbox live isn't working. When I turn on the system it connects to Live, but when I try to play a game or go on Netflix it cuts out and tells me I'm offline. I've followed the the bold questions that normally help (Restart router, update, reset network
    settings, etc) but I still seem to be having problems with it.

    What Country/State/Province do you live in? US/KY/Southgate

    Router brand & model number: Netgear N300 Wireless Router WNR2000 Version 3

    If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? Not using Wireless

    Controller input randomly stops working

    I just bought my new Xbox One and I've been installing Borderlands & Halo MCC. Randomly when I'm playing a game while other games are installing, my Xbox one stops receiving input from the controller. All except from the home button.

    The the light for the controller is still on. If I hold the home button the prompt to turn off the xbox appears. No other button works aside from that. When I find that my controller starts doing this, I connect my second controller and find that it is doing
    the exact same thing. The only solution to this issue I have found is to reboot the system. This has happened to me 3 times in the same day. I think it mainly happens when backing out from a game into the home menu, but I'm not 100% how to repeat the steps
    to cause it.

    Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do you think my new console is defective?

    mine has been down for over a month. i have talked to reps i have done all the steps. i even did a reset to factory. i am sure it is an error with a patch update. until they find it, everyone will be complaining.

    Same exact thing with me , I have talked to many representatives I am speaking with a "supervisor" right now and they don't know what it is if you get any more information please message me I bought a brand new mic to see if that would fix it and it didn't
    still can hear everything and everyone absolutely fine but my mic is not registering that my voice is coming through

    Just got off chat with a rep for the same issue myself and went through every step including everything i could find elsewhere. just getting really annoyed with this currently being it was an intermittent issue but now seems to be permanent this time around,

    Hello i can answer this the fix is really easy your router is blocking your connection to the xbox live service

    there is a fix

    support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live

    you will need your routers manual and a wired internet connection chat doesnt work well on wireless and also experiances issues while on dsl connections

    I have had the same exact problem with my headset. I can hear through the headset just fine, I just cannot talk with it. The green circle won't light up in party chat and I tried recording a message and nothing came out. Judging by older forum posts this
    appears to have been an ongoing issue plaguing people for over a year now and Microsoft refuses to admit that it is a software issue and won't fix it.
