    I got a new controller ( wired royal purple) and I tried using my headset but my friends say my mic quality is really bad my mic worked fine before with my old controller but now its mic quality sucks I'm not sure what to do

    Was your old controller also a PDP one? Least I assume your Wired Purple one is a PDP model?

    Was your old controller also a wired one?

    Also, as asked above, the headset make and model

    Some headsets can have issues if they are plugged into a wired controller, most notably Turtle Beach Recon ones

    The mic it's working, but his quality is poor on any game or app on the PC, I had another headphones wired and those had a good quality mic so it's not a PC issue
