Mic not transmitting but i can hear people in party

So i can hear my chat party but they can't hear me.

We have been through every setting known to man in the console settings, matched it to my friends settings who's mic works. Nothing

Followed every microsoft diagnostic there is. Reset the console while saving my games. Even tried the skype echo, test call and nothing. I bought a new controller and headset because i thought it was the old controller and crap headset.. no joy.

Anyone had this and found it something super simple before i do a full factory reset!?

So i did a full reset, then manual setup and it didn't work on either skype or chat with my friend. I tried 2 headsers and controllers and that did nothing (updating both before testing). Guess thats it for what it could be in the form of tests and diagnostics.

You won't lose any data or games etc.Once you reinstall everything onto the console all save data will sync. Just remember your password and email address.

Thanks for the update on the issue. I understand there is an issue with your friends hearing you in a party. I recommend to
Turn on UPnP to refresh your NAT table. Try this resource article: Xbox One Multiplayer Game Solution.

If the issue persists, you may have to double check your network configuration. To let your Xbox One console communicate with Xbox Live, you might have to open or forward ports, which means you'll be making a configuration change to your firewall or network
hardware, such as a router.
Port forwarding for Xbox One is done on your router or other network hardware, not on the Xbox console itself.

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)
