Mic Not Picking Up my Voice.

Hi! Ive been trying to fix this for 3 straight hours now and can’t figure it out. I can hear other people through my Turtle Beach Recon 50X Headset, but they cant hear me. Im not muted and my mic is on in settings. I plugged my headset in on my mac and
recorded a test and it worked, so its some problem woth the xbox. Do you know how i can fix it? Thanks!

Xbox Mic not picking up my voice

I was using my Xbox One chat headset and it was working fine and one day my controller turned off and my console went into idle mode and since then I have lost the ability to use my microphone through my Microsoft chat headset. I have contacted support and
we have done all of the troubleshooting steps to try to fix my headset issues. I can hear people through my headset but my mic is not picking up my voice. my mic is not on mute, my NAT is open, I don't have any privacy settings enabled that would prevent me
from communicating. I have tried everything, PLEASE HELP ME.

 

XBOX ONE MIC NOT RESPONDING

So i have had my mic now for a while and a couple of weeks ago it stopped responding to my voice...i have tried everything but its not working...its says the mic is plugged in but it wont pick up my voice

 

Are you seeing the mic icon move? Also, press the Xbox light button, go over to settings and then audio, to check.

 

No the mic icon is not moving.

 

Hi try doing a full power cycle: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Also login with your Xbox account at: https://enforcement.xbox.com and ensure you don't have a communication suspension

 

Ive done 2 hard resets now and dont have a communication suspension.

 

Have you connected you controller to you xbox while the headset is plugged in and updated it?

create a static IP for the console,
and port forwarding on the network
configuration settings.

Thanks! I think i could have found my problem. I have a moderate NAT but it says UPnP not successful. Does that have an impact on my friends not being able to hear me?

To confirm with you here, the networking status/connection for a console does play into you hearing your friends within a party, or them hearing you.
