Mic isn’t working.

Since you work for Microsoft is there a chance you could possibly see if my account was muted ? I don’t have any outstanding enforcement issues or anything but my buddy said he got his account muted my Microsoft one time on accident and they didn’t know.

Also, if you are not able to see an enforcement action in your account history. This means that you're not banned and if that was the case, you shouldn't be able to use the Xbox mobile app to join parties

You can try to isolate the problem even more testing your account on a different console

I’ve done quite a few MAC address restarts and nothing changes.

If you already tried the offline update the next step in this case is report the problem to the Xbox team with advanced diagnostics to see what's going on

Joseph, please try this on your console:

Open settings > general > volume and audio output > once there
Select for both Headset and Speaker audio "Stereo uncompressed"

After that go to additional options > Make sure all the options there are unchecked

Under volume options > chat mixer > select Do nothing
And under party chat output > try first leaving headset
And if the issue persists leave speakers and headset

If the issue persists and in case you didn't try it, could be nice perform an offline update for your console. In that way Xbox system will be installed/updated from scratch.

PS: if maybe you're using an insider build you need to leave the program first. If not the offline update is not going to work
