    Hello friends, Ive been having this on going issue where i can not get my mic to work on voice chat while on my PC. Ive looked up so many solutions and none have worked. When im on the xbox gamebar and go into my voice settings it picks up my mic but my friends still can not hear me. Ive gotten it to work out of the blue before by messing with things but this time i havent been able to get it to work at all! Ive tried so hard to come in contact with anyone from microsoft that could help me but no one ever responds. Please if anyone has had this same problem and fixed it let me know what you did! Thank you.

    I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

    Hi there welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I used to have this issue, try following these steps!

    Press Windows key + R to open up a Run dialog box. Next, type ”ms-settings:troubleshoot’ and press Enter to open up the Troubleshooting tab of the Settings app

    Once you’re inside the Troubleshooting tab, move down to the right-hand menu and click on the Recording Audio entry. Then, from the newly appeared context menu, click on Run the troubleshooter to start the utility once again.

    Wait until the utility is started. If you are prompted by the UAC (User Account Control), click Yes to grant administrative privileges.

    After the analysis is complete, look at the results and see if a viable repair strategy is identified. If the utility ends up recommending a fix, apply it by clicking on Apply this fix, then wait for the procedure to be complete.

    Once the fix is successfully deployed, restart your computer and see if your microphone audio is picked up by the Xbox App.

    If the same problem is still occurring, please let us know!

    Looking For Group PC To Console

    Open Gamebar open Gamebar Widget Menu and add "Looking for group". Done.

    Open Console Companion and do like always. Done

    Don't open Xbox App because Xbox App is not Gamebar nor Companion.

    i do feel that gamebar is a beta sometimes haha. you can always do everything on your xbox console companion and it will work directly with gamebar aswell.
